This general quarry gravel is excellent for compaction due to its wide range of particle size, right from 0mm to 20mm. Excellent for preparation heights up to 100mm which means it’s excellent as a top course. For any depths more than 150mm, you may consider using AP40 underneath if compaction tests are undertaken.

Tips: For general landscaping AP20 is sufficient. Using a compactor and damping down the product will yield the best results. Avoid using standard rakes when moving the product to avoid particle separation – Flat rakes will ensure quality compaction.
