How to increase your home’s value and improve ‘curb appeal’:
Our homes are among our biggest investments and keeping our house as attractive as possible is something we strive for. When people visit you the first thing they see is the outside of your home, namely your front yard, so one of the most important things we can do for our homes is create, or improve curb appeal (what others can see from the outside). So whether you have a new home or you have been in your home for a number of years, spending some time outdoors is a great way to update your home.
Adding curb appeal can:
Landscaping can increase your home can increase your home’s value, reportedly by as much as 15%. Landscaping also tends to hold its value more than a bathroom or kitchen renovation as a landscape renovation doesn’t become as outdated as fast in terms of style and many parts of a landscape increase in value with age (ie: trees).
Landscaping makes your home more welcoming to people who come visit your home as well as create a sense of space that is yours.
